Dating back to when I declared that George Bush is God, I have been constantly bombarded on my opinion on 9/11. Its no secret that I think it was the start of what should be considered World War III. The problem the public has with realizing this fact, is very simple, and Im here to explain it to you.
I dont care about all the douchebags that say we created this terrorism; somehow its our fault. They like to point out the fact that we supported Afghans in the 1980s against their fight against the Soviets. We supplied them with everything under the sun that would allow us to deny our assistance. We supplied Saddam Hussein with weapons during his war against Iran in the 1980s. None other than Donald Rumsfeld himself went to Baghdad to hang out with that murderer. Its true that our assistance enabled Saddam to wipe out thousands of people that supported him, but it also stopped Iran in its tracks for over a decade. Iran, as they are proving now, were the worst evil.
Im a liberal, and I admit that freely. But terrorists declared war on us several times during the 1990s on a regular basis. We have the first attack on the World Trade Center. Instead of going after the places and organizations where these bastards came from, Bill Clinton and his wonderful dyke Janet Reno prosecuted the captured terrorists in court! Fast forward 5 more years to 1998. We had two attacks at the same time on two of our embassies in Africa. In case you jackballs dont know, our embassies and consulates are considered part of the United States; which means its our land. Those attacks killed lots of natives, but also killed several of our US Marines. Meanwhile, back in the White House, Clinton was busy getting blow jobs from a fat intern. Two years later, the same terrorist group decided to blow a hole in one of our warships, the USS Cole in Yemen. Almost two dozen of our sailors were killed, with many more injured. Im pretty sure Clinton decided to let it slide, as he was going to be out of office within months. In typical liberal fashion, Clinton let George Bush take the helm of a country that he progressively made weaker while under constant attack.
Now, fast forward to Sept 11. We all saw the images. The images of two planes crashing into two American landmarks. Its easy for us now, 6 years later to say that it was horrible without a single thought more. Back on that day, after the planes struck, imagine what AMERICANS were going through after the impact of those planes. The chaos, the confusion, and the uncertainty. Those people in the towers experienced the ultimate, first hand terror. The recordings of the phone calls after were very chilling, downright spooky. Alot of the people who got through were scared out of thier wits. Alot had no idea that they were at the epicenter for the beginning of World War III. People scrambled to get out any way they could. Many, those around and above the impact areas, were trapped. They had no escape, and many of them knew that. And how did they know? They were the poor souls that decided to jump from the doomed building. How can we forget the images of ordinary AMERICANS jumping from a flaming building to their deaths? We shouldnt. It should almost be on the front page of every newspaper, everyday.
3000 people, all innocent died without warning, which is in stark contrast to Pearl Harbor. The Japanese were thoughtful enough to direct their attack only on military targets. As strange as it would sound, but legit militaries attack other militaries, not civilians that cannot defend themselves. Both incidents could have been prevented, but were not for various reason.
Some of you may think that we ultimately lost the battle on 9/11, but in reality, we didnt. Remember those people on Flight 93? Yeah, them. They decided they were not afraid, and took their fates into their own hands. We dont know what happened, despite what Hollywood would have us think. But we do know that AMERICANS kicked ass and saved other AMERICANS from the fate of those lost at the WTC and Washington. They died so others might live. And its a timeless story that is a memorial to AMERICA and our way of life, as well as those heros that thrust into the unknown, without worry of personal sacrifice. The personal sacrifice for those that fought back was the ultimate. Those people didnt know it then, but showed their love to others by putting it all on the line.
9/11 came and went, we invaded Afghanistan and got rid of the murderous bastards called the Taliban. We invaded Iraq, kicked ass, and now seemingly, are suck there. Its hard to win against cowards that fight behind women and children. And bitches like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton would have us believe that Iraq was a waste. Its people like this that will be the death and defeat of United States of America.
Come this 4th of July, try to remember the images of people leaping from dying buildings. Try to imagine what it was like for those people as the pavement below zoomed in ultra fast. People have gone back to life Pre-9/11, and thats something we have to avoid, and why I bring it up as much as I can on my show. People in this iPhone world forget so easy. I for one will be on point to keep 9/11 in memory.
9/11 is important to us as a country, its a shame most of the country doesnt realize it.

Great Post, Phil.
Much luck to you and your work on the New Phil Hendrie Show
Phil,
You stated the facts eloquently. It is vitally important that we never forget 9/11 and what happened that day, as well as where we stand now in 2007, and you’ve always been at the forefront of that effort. I myself have always been a current events addict, and now I’ve become more and more of a history junkie. The trouble is, the more I study this problem and attempt to find historic parallels, the more perplexed I become.
The question is simple: What do we do to stop these maniacs and establish “peace” (whatever that means)? These freaks have no king or fuehrer, nor does their religion have a pope or official leader. You can quote the statistics ad nauseum, whether it be population-related (the birth rate in Islamic countries is 3 or more times greater than that of the rest of Europe), or ignorance-related (more books were translated from English to Spanish last year than in the entire history of Arabic (or whatever lingo those folks speak)).
We face a crisis of numbers and ignorance. I think it’s beyond a case of simply “let’s try and cultivate a greater understanding.” Ignorance is bliss to those with a proclivity toward violence. Hamas Mickey, who was brutally murdered by a Zionist real estate agent, is a perfect example.
So I hope on your new show, and on this blog, you dedicate the appropriate amount of time not simply on what has happened to us (which IS always important), but on what in the hell the appropriate RESPONSE should be. A little war here, and a little skirmish there, and some more sanctions on these guys over here just doesn’t cut it. To be fair, you have touched on the subject quite a bit, but I have yet to hear any pundit – in government or talk radio – offer any solutions that truly make sense and help me sleep at night. Short of deciding to “kill them all and let god sort it out” there has to be an answer out there somewhere. Speaking on behalf of all of your listeners and readers, I now assign you the task of determining what that course of action should be. Godspeed, Mr. Hendrie!
Do I remember 911? My wife and I migrated to the USA from Australia in 2001. We used to walk though the World Trade Center every morning until we were relocated to San Francisco a month later. We saw our newly adopted country attacked by cowardly bastards, not six months after we got here. It was a disgusting act and we can never forget it. It's seared into our memory. We came here because we wanted freedom. We didn't enjoy being subjects of a monarch who didn't even live in our country. I was lucky enough in December to become a naturalized US citizen at Federal Hall in NYC, the same spot where George Washington was inaugurated as the first the President. It blew me away. If I'm ever asked I will gladly take up arms to defend my country and by God I'll fight them to the death, and I know we'll win. I love this place, and I'll happily hunt down and kill anyone who tries to destroy it.
Phil,
Could you clarify your party affiliation and your stance on the war/terrorism? I don't think I've heard you repeat it once, not once at all.
Mort
Mort, you must not be a loyal follower or anything near familiar with me. You sound like an internet troll. But, Ill bite.
I am a registered Democrat. However, I support George W Bush and the war on terror. I support being in Iraq, taking out terrorists. I dont support pulling out like alot of Democrats want. Honestly, if I were running things, I promise Tehran and all those other raghead cities that hate us would be glowing from our nukes. George Bush is a fine, fine president, and doing everything he can to keep America safe. He aint perfect, but he has our best interest in mind.
So, I dont get what people dont understand about the sheer fact that there are thousands of radical Muslims that want to come over here, make us worship Allah, or saw our head off. There are literally thousands that wouldnt hesitate to kill a small child, or beat an old woman. Until America realizes there are people that truly want to murder us outright, we wont get it. And people like you Mort whine and bitch about us needing to be more tolerant. 3000 people died on 9/11, dont you think that was a little too tolerant? 3500 of our finest have died so that wimps like you can remain pussified and timid. Now step off, punk.
Couldn't agree more. Two great posts Phil. Keep speakin' the truth!
Question for Phil:
Do you think there's anything at all in this war that was done wrong? Is it at all possible that Bush makes any mistakes?
I know the left's argument that somehow Bush conspired with the 9/11 plot and is an evil corporate puppet gets old. I know that it's more likely that Bush at least has good intentions. But you never criticize him at all. Ever. And, just like Clinton, Bush has made many, many a f*** up. It's not your agreement with the war that makes it hard to listen to you nowadays... it's this slave-like obedience to the Bush administration and cheap-shot low-blows against all those who oppose it.
You may have made some good arguments as to why Michael Moore is a piece of crap, but as far as I can remember all I know is that you don't like him because he doesn't like Bush and because he's fat. Mostly because he's fat.
It's all about credibility. If you only see the good and don't believe any of the bad then it's impossible to take your opinion seriously. I'm not trying to persuade you to change your mind... I just find it hard to believe that you could be so thorough in your reasoning and solid in your belief but you see absolutely nothing wrong.
Grunter--There is plenty wrong with George Bush and his strategy in Iraq. The domestic stuff is all politics. The War on Terror stuff isnt suppose to be, but unfortunatly has become that way.
Look, remember awhile back that radical cleric Muqtada al-Sadr was causing all kinds of trouble after the warrant for his arrest was issued. The warrant, by the way, was for murdering a bunch of dudes that he didnt like. He hid his pussy ass in a mosque somewhere, and the Marines were sent in to get him. We stopped short of actually getting him and wiping him out. What happened, we invited him to become part of the government. Clearly, Ted Kennedy isnt the only politician that can kill and have a future.
Fact remains, we should have killed him. Our policy in Iraq is flawed, for sure. I saw in the news that orders of these MRAP vehicles for the Army and Marines are in the tens of thousands. These vehicles were requested two years ago!! That was back when the Republicans were in control of congress. Now there is all kinds of finger pointing about who dropped the ball. Instead of giving our troops what they need, our government has dragged its feet for politics. Politics is the one reason that Vietnam was lost, and why Iraq may very well have the same fate.
Another fault is that this surge is too little, too late. We should have had many more troops alot sooner. No matter how cowardly these terrorist fucks are, strength in numbers would certainly have more of an effect. Plus the surge was doomed to fail even before it started by this democratic congress. Queen Benedict Arnold, er I mean Nancy Pelosi said so before a single additional soldier hit the ground.
Now, there are mistakes in Afghanistan too. We pretty much stopped looking for Osama Bin Laden. What a boost in troop support and morale it would be if we could get that guys kisser and mount his head atop the end of a bayonet. Simply, again, politics is in our way. The guys hiding in Pakistan, and we and Pakistan pretty much know it. Even so, all those Taliban are hiding in the mountains. Why arent we just lining up B52 and making that mountain a gravel pit? Politics.
Phil,
Do you really think bin Laden is still alive? I think even the worms are done with him by now. Sure it would be a morale boost for our guys, but I'm guessing that the powers that be think that his role is better marginalized than officially at an end.
The real reason that I'm commenting is that she's back!!! Mother Sheehan has announced her return to the public discourse (just in case you missed it - I thought I'd brighten your holiday).
From the opening of her joyous announcement (or is it pronouncement?)to the world:
Call Out the Instigator

Call out the Instigator
Because there’s something in the air
We got to get together sooner or later
Because the revolution’s here
You know it’s right!

I’m not backing off. I tried to remove myself from the political realm of the US, what BushCo is turning into an Evil Empire, but the blatant audacity of George commuting Scooter’s sentence (he’s not ruling out a full pardon —and you know he will) has dragged me kicking and screaming back in. I can’t sit back and let this BushCo drag our country further down into the murky quagmire of Fascism and violence, taking the rest of the world with them!
Phil love the new blog! Keep it up. It'd be even better if it was really yours!
clinton was gulty - just ask sid blumenthal.
Pt.1:
It's Thomas Jefferson's fault. If he had dealt directly with the Barbary pirates who were taking over a million Christian merchants and putting them into slavery because "the Koran says we can", then 9/11 would have never happened.
Poor America, it has done nothing but offer the rest of the world goodwill, charity, and protection only to have it end up with spit in it's face.
America has never intervened in other sovereign countries to impose it's world view or plunder resources.Ever. Not even recently. Nor has it ever supported opposing forces to hedge it's bets against what the outcome might be.
America has retained itself as a singular and unique example - so different from the goals of Empire that Britain, Spain, Comintern, Japan, etc. have engaged in. And unlike those few examples, there has never been rank corruption, collusion, financial dominance and manipulation, and ideological skewing that finds it's way into Foreign Policy within the government of the United States.
Pt 2We have never had a leader that has engaged in criminal actions beyond recieving fellatio from an ugly woman in the White House.
We have never misused our power with government mechanisms like the FBI, DoD, CIA, DEA. Just like our President, they have only ever served the Constitutional ideals that those quivering cowards we call Founding Fathers tried to hide behind. Some of them were even atheists.
The sooner that we have someone with a vast understanding of world affairs like Giuliani, an enlightened spiritual awakening like Romney, a love for free speech like Brownback, non conservative thinker in a Democrat's clothing like Clinton, or a true rep of the common person like Obama, the better off we'll be!
Thankfully we have a contemporary history of people who understand that things ARE black and white. Such spiritual thinkers as the late Jerry Falwell, or Pat Robertson. Such loyal servants of America as Gordon Liddy or Oliver North. Such capable, insightful, and selfless legislators as Richard Cheney, Rick Perry, Nancy Pelosi, Norm Coleman, ad nauseum.
What's even better is that our media is free. Everything is transparent and no is manipulated. It's nothing like the Wizard of Oz or the Adventures of Baron Munchausen.
If a fellow citizen reads the work of a journalist who tries to follow a sticky web we know we are watching them become mired in their own prejudices and demagoguery.
As my nation's Birthday approaches, it gives me such comfort knowing that God created America on one of six days, and that the company I am keeping includes all the agents of the good previously mentioned. It's nice to know that diverging opinion need not exist because there is one Truth, an American Truth.
There are LOTS of candles on this leven birthday cake. Phil, would you, as a voice sharing the airwaves with Enlightened Peoples such as Michael Savage, Dick Morris, Anne Coulter, and Rush Limbaugh, care to help us dispense with the candles?
That is, if it doesn't interfere with the BLOWING that you are already doing.
Happy Birthday brothers and sisters.
Beautiful George!
A little off-topic, and with no qualifiers, I think the new show is great. I look forward to hearing many more.
threefingersofcutty
move to canada period
From the Desk of George Metevski:
attn: threefingersofcutty;
There were plenty of qualifiers. Especially the undercurrent of sarcasm. If you can refute any element, feel free. But you can't.
And the reason you can't is simply because you might not be too bright.
anonymoU.S.;
Why would I move to Canada? Canada will be an American controlled economic proxy state soon enough anyway.
Why would I go through all that paperwork. Please follow, scratch that, RESEARCH the news. You might learn something. WE won't hold our breath, however.
best wishes mon ami,
George Metevski
Phil,
I was so happy to hear your new show. What a breath of fresh air.
Thanks, also, for continuing to update your official site. I never expected all the stuff to just be placed on there overnight. I am happy for whatever you can provide. I don't know about anyone else, but when I am stressed out, listening to your characters reminds me that I really don't have any problems after all :)
Love it,
Rhonda
It was a huge relief to hear Vernon Dozier have his own segment.
I love pussy.
This shit is still up?
